Pre-draft buzz had Levis pegged as a potential first overall pick at various points. The slide to the second round tells you everything about the gap between the tools and the tape. Across 37 games split between Penn State and Kentucky, Levis completed 64.9% for 5,834 yards at just 157.7 per game with 45 touchdowns and 25 interceptions, a 1.8:1 ratio. His two Penn State seasons were low-volume cameos (223 yards in 2019, 379 in 2020), and the Kentucky years told a frustrating story: 24 touchdowns against 13 picks in 2021 (217.4 ypg), followed by 19 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in 2022 (218.7 ypg). The decision-making never cleaned up with experience. The arm talent, though, is undeniable. Levis can make every throw from every angle with legitimate NFL velocity. At 229 pounds with 718 career rushing yards and 16 rushing touchdowns, there is a power-rushing dimension that adds value.
