Rattler arrived at Oklahoma in 2019 as the consensus top recruit in the country and left college football five years later as a fifth-round pick. The career totals across 47 games at Oklahoma and South Carolina read 68.8% completion for 10,520 yards (223.8 per game) with 76 touchdowns and 32 interceptions, a 2.4:1 ratio that never improved enough to justify the pedigree. His best work came in 2020 at Oklahoma: 67.8%, 2,759 yards, 275.9 per game, and 27 touchdowns in 10 games. Then Caleb Williams replaced him in 2021 (he still managed 74.9% in 9 games, though the volume cratered to 164.8 per game).
