C.J. Stroud Dynasty Value
C.J. Stroud is ranked #82 overall on the Clutch Dynasty superflex PPR board and #141 in 1QB leagues, after Week 4 of the 2026 season. His value is steady this week.
Pre-draft scouting report
Two seasons as Ohio State's starter, 26 games, and some of the cleanest passing numbers in recent draft history. Stroud completed 69.3% of his passes for 8,123 yards (312.4 per game) with 85 touchdowns and 12 interceptions, a 7.1:1 TD/INT ratio that leads this entire class. His 2021 debut set the tone immediately: 71.9% completion, 4,435 yards, an absurd 369.6 yards per game, and 44 touchdowns against 6 interceptions. The 2022 campaign came back to earth slightly at 66.3% with 3,688 yards (283.7 per game) and 41 touchdowns, though 108 rushing yards showed he could at least survive outside the pocket when needed. At 214 pounds with only 136 career rushing yards and a single rushing touchdown, this is a rhythm passer through and through. The elephant in the room is the supporting cast: Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Chris Olave, Garrett Wilson. That receiver room was historically loaded, and the question of how much credit belongs to Stroud versus the scheme and talent around him will follow him into the league. R1.2 for a quarterback whose passing efficiency and volume are genuinely elite, with the caveat that no Ohio State passer has ever replicated those numbers at the next level.
