Only Nix's Oregon years appear in the tracked data, and taken at face value, they are spectacular. Across 27 games in Eugene, he completed 74.9% of his passes for 8,102 yards (300.1 per game) with 74 touchdowns and just 10 interceptions, a 7.4:1 ratio. His 2023 senior season was a masterpiece: 77.4% completion, 4,508 yards, 322 yards per game, and 45 touchdowns against 3 interceptions. The 2022 debut was nearly as good at 72.1% with 3,594 yards and 29 scores. He also rushed for 748 yards and 20 touchdowns (514 of those rushing yards coming in 2022 with 14 touchdowns). The caveat is the three years at Auburn not captured here, where Nix was a different player entirely, a 61% passer who struggled with turnovers and consistency. Oregon's system and the Pac-12 environment clearly unlocked something. R1.12 for a quarterback whose Oregon production is among the most efficient two-year stretches in modern college football, with the understanding that the Auburn tape tells a cautionary tale about the same arm.
