Tyler Johnson Dynasty Value

33 career touchdowns at Minnesota. Tyler Johnson was the most productive wide receiver in the Big Ten during his time in Minneapolis, and he did it without the benefit of elite quarterback play for most of his career. The trajectory is a textbook developmental arc: 20.1 yards per game as a freshman in 7 games, 67.7 as a sophomore, 89.9 as a junior with 12 touchdowns, then 101.4 as a senior with 6.6 receptions and 13 touchdowns when the Golden Gophers went 11-2. P.J. Fleck's program featured Johnson as the clear WR1 for three straight years. 206 pounds at 6'2" with no official forty time from the combine. The lack of speed data is a problem for a player whose fifth-round draft slot already suggests NFL scouts had concerns beyond the production. Johnson was a four-year starter who compiled 43 games of data, and the production is remarkably consistent from sophomore year onward. The most productive wide receiver in the Big Ten whose draft slot dramatically undervalues the college resume. The question is whether the physical traits match the production or whether this is a college-only stat compiler.
