Tyler Conklin Dynasty Value

Productive receiver out of Central Michigan who put up legitimate per-game numbers despite the MAC competition level. 83 receptions for 1159 yards and 11 touchdowns across 24 games, averaging 3.5 catches and 48.3 yards per contest with a 14.0 yards per reception career mark. His junior year saw him grab 42 for 560 and 6 scores in 12 games, and his senior year was even more efficient at 35 for 504 and 5 touchdowns in just 8 games, a 4.4 catches and 63.0 yards per game clip. At 254 pounds with a 4.80 forty and a 38-inch vertical, the combination of size and explosiveness is noteworthy for a fifth-round pick. The vertical leap in particular suggests an athletic ceiling that the small-school production might be underselling. The standard G5 discount applies, but the rate stats are hard to ignore. R5.157 for a small-school tight end whose athletic testing and per-game production suggest more upside than the draft slot indicates.
