That injury is the entire evaluation. Without it, Tua is a top-2 pick. With it, he slides to R1.5 and carries the kind of medical uncertainty that no stat line can resolve. Just 340 rushing yards and 9 touchdowns on the ground across his career, so this is purely a timing-and-touch passer at 217 pounds. Alabama surrounded him with Jeudy, Smith, and Waddle, which complicates the projection, but the ball placement and anticipation are genuinely elite. R1.5 for a quarterback whose arm talent and efficiency profile as a franchise starter, but whose hip threatens to rewrite the entire trajectory before it begins.
