Michael Penix Dynasty Value
Michael Penix is ranked #150 overall on the Clutch Dynasty superflex PPR board and #206 in 1QB leagues, after Week 4 of the 2026 season. His value is steady this week.
Pre-draft scouting report
Nobody in this class threw for more yards than Penix, and nobody carries a heavier medical file. Across 47 games spanning Indiana and Washington, he accumulated 13,649 passing yards (290.4 per game) with 95 touchdowns and 34 interceptions at 63.2% completion. The Indiana years were brutal: two torn ACLs interrupted his development, and he managed just 53.7% completion with 4 touchdowns and 7 picks in a limited 2021 before heading west. Washington unlocked him. He averaged 357 yards per game in 2022 (65.3%, 4,641 yards, 31 touchdowns) and followed it up with 4,903 yards at 326.9 per game in 2023 while leading the Huskies to the national championship game. The 2.8:1 career TD/INT ratio and 34 interceptions reveal the aggressiveness that comes with that volume. At 216 pounds with a 4.58 forty and 36.5-inch vertical, the post-ACL athletic testing was encouraging. Only 257 career rushing yards, so this is a pure pocket passer. R1.8 for a volume producer whose Washington reinvention was electric but whose injury history and turnover tendencies create real risk for a top-10 investment.
