Kyle Trask Dynasty Value

From afterthought to Heisman finalist in two years, Trask's rise at Florida was one of the better stories in recent college football. His 2020 season was the headliner: 69.3% completion, 3,875 yards, 352.3 per game, 40 touchdowns and 8 interceptions across 11 games. That came on the heels of a strong 2019 (66.9%, 2,941 yards, 245.1 per game, 25 touchdowns, 7 picks in 12 games) that first put him on the map. The career totals across 26 games are solid: 68.0% completion, 6,978 yards at 268.4 per game, 66 touchdowns, 15 interceptions for a 4.4:1 ratio. His 2018 appearances (3 games, 63.6%, 162 yards, 1 touchdown) were a footnote. The rushing numbers tell you exactly what kind of quarterback this is: 54 career yards on the ground with 7 touchdowns, all of them short-yardage sneaks. At 236 pounds with a 5.08 forty and a 31.5-inch vertical, Trask is the most immobile passer in this class by a wide margin. Kyle Pitts catching passes certainly inflated his numbers, which muddies the projection. R2.64 for a pocket-bound passer whose two-year production arc is compelling but whose complete lack of mobility and supporting-cast questions keep the dynasty ceiling narrow.
