K.J. Osborn Dynasty Value

K.J. Osborn spent three years at Buffalo before transferring to Miami for his final season in the ACC. The peak production came at Buffalo: 68.6 receiving yards per game with 4.1 receptions and 7 touchdowns as a junior in his third year with the Bulls. The senior year at Miami was a disappointment, regressing to 42.1 yards per game with 3.8 receptions and 5 touchdowns. Four years of total production across both programs: 3.2 catches and 44.3 yards per game across 46 games with 17 touchdowns and a 14.0 yards-per-reception average. 206 pounds at 6'0" with a 4.48 forty and 37.5-inch vertical. The athletic testing is solid and suggests a player who should have produced more consistently than he did. The ACC step-up in competition from the MAC explains some of the regression, but the drop in production with the move to Miami raises questions about whether the Buffalo numbers were inflated by weaker competition. An athletic but inconsistent receiver whose transfer path and senior-year regression make the projection uncertain despite solid physical traits.
