Josiah Deguara Dynasty Value

Four full years at Cincinnati, steadily building his role from bit player to go-to target. Deguara started small with 4 catches for 47 yards in 4 games as a freshman in 2016, then added 11 receptions for 98 yards across 5 games the following year. The production stabilized in 2018 with 38 catches for 468 yards and 5 touchdowns in 13 games, and he replicated that output as a senior with 39 receptions for 504 yards and 7 scores in another 13-game season. The career line reads 92 catches for 1117 yards and 12 touchdowns over 35 games, which is solid volume for a Group of Five tight end. At 242 pounds with a 4.72 forty and 35.5-inch vertical, Deguara is undersized for the position but moves well enough to project as an H-back at the next level. Cincinnati used him all over the formation, and that positional flexibility is the primary selling point. The per-game averages of 2.6 catches and 31.9 yards never jump off the page, but the four-year body of work shows a reliable player who earned trust. R3.94 for a versatile chess piece whose tweener build limits the ceiling but whose consistency gives him a real path to a role.
