Jaylen Waddle Dynasty Value
Jaylen Waddle is ranked #78 overall on the Clutch Dynasty superflex PPR board and #64 in 1QB leagues, after Week 4 of the 2026 season. His value is steady this week.
Pre-draft scouting report
The most explosive athlete in this draft class. Jaylen Waddle's time at Alabama was defined by highlight-reel plays and an ankle injury that cut his junior season short after just 6 games. When healthy, Waddle was a game-changer: 98.5 receiving yards per game in 2020 with 4.7 receptions and an 18.9 career yards-per-reception mark that places him among the most efficient deep threats in recent college football memory. The total production is limited, though: 34 career games with 3.1 receptions and 58.8 yards per game across three seasons, numbers depressed by sharing targets with Jeudy, Ruggs, and DeVonta Smith in the deepest receiver room in college football history. 17 touchdowns in those 34 games. The sophomore season dipped to 43.1 yards per game, which coincided with all four Alabama receivers competing for touches. The freshman year was the most complete sample at 56.5 yards per game across 15 games. 180 pounds at 5'10" with no official forty time but tape speed that rivals Ruggs. Waddle was Alabama's primary return man for a reason, and his ability to turn any touch into a house call is his defining trait. The ankle injury and slight frame add legitimate question marks, but the explosiveness is generational.
