Jauan Jennings Dynasty Value

Five years at Tennessee through some of the program's most turbulent seasons. Jauan Jennings played under Butch Jones, was briefly dismissed, then returned under Jeremy Pruitt and had the best season of his career. The senior year was the breakout: 74.5 receiving yards per game with 4.5 receptions and 8 touchdowns across 13 games after a career that had produced just 44.9 yards per game across 48 total games. 18 career touchdowns. The 14.7 yards-per-reception average shows a player who could work the intermediate game effectively. 215 pounds at 6'3" with a 4.72 forty and 29-inch vertical. The athletic testing is poor by NFL standards, with the vertical jump particularly concerning for a player who needs to win above the rim at that speed. But Jennings is a tough, physical receiver who plays bigger than his testing suggests. The kind of player whose competitiveness and ball skills compensate for athletic limitations. A gritty, experienced SEC receiver whose toughness and production in his final year are real but whose athletic profile makes a seventh-round pick the appropriate investment level.
