A transfer from Ohio State who spent two years in Columbus behind Olave and Wilson before heading to Alabama and becoming the most explosive receiver in the SEC. The junior season at Alabama was electric: 104.8 receiving yards per game with 5.3 receptions across 15 games. 19.6 career yards per reception and 18 touchdowns in 25 career games. The ACL tear in the national championship game against Georgia is the elephant in the room, with no combine testing as a result. At 179 pounds the combination of a torn ACL and a slight frame creates real durability questions. Before the injury, Williams was a legitimate top-five candidate. R1.12 to Detroit for a game-breaking deep threat whose healthy tape is as exciting as anyone in this class, but whose knee and frame add significant risk.
