Darnell Washington Dynasty Value

Built like a small offensive tackle and moves like a tight end. Washington is 272 pounds with a 4.64 forty, a size-speed combination that almost does not make sense. Three years at Georgia produced 45 receptions for 774 yards and 3 touchdowns across 25 games, including 7 catches for 166 yards in just 4 games as a freshman in 2020 when his 23.7 yards per reception hinted at the kind of damage he could do downfield. By 2022 he had settled into the Georgia offense with 28 catches for 454 yards in 13 games, 2.2 catches and 34.9 yards per game in an offense that had Brock Bowers commanding most of the tight end targets. Career 17.2 yards per reception is the number that pops off the page, highest in this class by a significant margin, and it confirms that when Washington caught the ball he was making plays downfield. Only a 31-inch vertical at 272, which is what it is. R3.93 for a physical freak whose receiving upside was always secondary to his blocking identity at Georgia, and likely will be again in the NFL.
