Daniel Jones Dynasty Value

Going sixth overall out of Duke had the dynasty community in an uproar, and the college numbers do nothing to quiet the noise. Jones completed 60.1% of his passes across 35 games with 8,160 yards (233.1/g), 51 touchdowns, and 29 interceptions. That 1.8:1 TD/INT ratio is brutal for a top-10 pick. His sophomore year was actually his best passing season: 2,795 yards at 254.1 per game with a 63.4% clip. By his junior year in 2018, the efficiency hadn't taken a leap (60.5%, 22 touchdowns, 9 interceptions), though the per-game yardage climbed to 243.1. The rushing profile matters more than people realize: 1,268 career yards and 17 touchdowns on the ground give him roughly 36 yards per game as a floor. At 221 pounds with a 4.81 forty and 33.5-inch vertical, the athletic testing confirms legitimate mobility for a prototypical frame. Duke's supporting cast was consistently among the worst in the ACC, which provides context for the uninspiring passing numbers, but context only goes so far. R1.6 for a quarterback whose draft capital massively outpaces his college production, banking entirely on the belief that Duke's talent deficit suppressed an NFL-caliber arm and processor.
