Cameron Latu Dynasty Value

Two quiet years at Alabama in 2018 and 2019 with zero receptions, then a breakout in 2021 that announced him as one of the SEC's top tight ends: 26 catches for 410 yards and 8 touchdowns in 14 games. That scoring rate was remarkable, nearly a touchdown every other game, and it made him a fixture in Alabama's red zone offense. Latu came back in 2022 and posted 30 catches for 377 yards and 4 more scores in 10 games before injuries shortened the year. Career totals of 56 receptions for 787 yards and 12 touchdowns across 28 games, with a 14.1 yards per reception average that shows real downfield ability. 242 pounds with a 4.78 forty and 32.5-inch vertical, undersized and not particularly fast, which is why the production did not push him past the third round. The 12 touchdowns in 28 games is a strong rate, but the combination of a lighter frame, limited speed, and a senior year cut short by injury creates real questions about durability. R3.101 for an Alabama tight end whose scoring ability is proven but whose body and athletic limitations compress the ceiling.
